Interactive digital turkey math activity compatible with Google Slides™, Seesaw™, and Pic Collage on the iPad® mobile digital device perfect for Thanksgiving week or virtual learning. Students use movable digital pattern blocks to create a tail for the turkey then create a tally chart and bar graph of the shapes used.
Easily integrate this low prep digital activity into math centers, digital assignments, or even small or whole group instruction. A great way to review or introduce 2-D shapes, their properties, and names! Younger students can explore while those in 2nd and 3rd can use the 16 included task cards to practice Common Core standards about shapes. Includes everything you & your students need to use to complete the activity on Seesaw, Google Slides, or Pic Collage / Pattern Block Apps. Choose the version that works best for your students!
★ Google Slides version includes digital pattern blocks and a turkey body right on the slides to create the pattern block tail plus separate interactive slides for creating a tally chart and bar graph of shapes.
★ Seesaw version includes preloaded Seesaw Activity link and editable activity directions. Students will drag the shapes to create the tail then use the pen tool to create a tally chart and bar graph.
★ Pic Collage version includes printable visual step by step directions for downloading the templates and using both the Pic Collage and Pattern Block app.
★ .pdf packet also includes teacher & student directions for setting up, downloading and sharing on various platforms.
You and your students will need either Google Drive accounts, Seesaw accounts, or access to Pic Collage/Pattern Block Shapes on the iPad.
