Easily integrate this low prep virtual learning Thanksgiving activity into word study, spelling, word work or reading centers in the classroom or for virtual learning.
Here is how it works:
Teachers will assign one of the 3 versions to their students. Students use the rule on the card to create a “tail” using text in Google Slides, Seesaw or PicCollage™.
Since students can make a different turkey each time, you can use this activity more than once.
A fun way to review word patterns those last hectic days before Thanksgiving when there is not a weekly spelling list – or have students use their spelling words (task cards include an option for using your own spelling or sight word list). Also includes task cards for reviewing grammar. I suggest setting the center up with a pile of Thanksgiving books for students to hunt through or assigning books via Epic if online.

You will need either access to Google Classroom, Seesaw or the free apps Pic Collage and a QR reader app. A clickable QR code for the app PicCollage™ is included.
